What has happened to this blog? (This is for those wondering why there are no new posts)

No comments:
This blog was once used for my site,, but that site is now existing on a new webserver, which you can just find by visiting the link This blog will move into an archive state and no new posts will be posted on it after this one.

For those that were subscribed via email using the Feedburner system, I have converted your email address over to a new newsletter I am managing using Mailchimp. This automatically sends you an email on a daily basis if there has been a new article posted on You can subscribe to this service via this URL,

For those looking for the remote group healings every weekend, I now post a new thread on the Roundtable Forum around 48 hours before each session. You can find the specifc board where I post it right here,

For those looking at the menu or other articles and are finding dead links, just run a search on the new website linked to above, and you will find the article as all articles have been migrated over. I did a bad job with he migration process so all the links posted on this blog no longer work with the exception of some I have updated manually that are linked to in the menu.

I think that is everything I needed to cover!

You can always find us on Facebook here, Twitter here, and our community Forum, the Roundtable, right here,

All Good Things Must Come To An End

No comments:
While there are a few things I will be working on after the new site is released, which will be within 48 hours, with the exception of some content in the menu that I will work on today, it is just about ready to go live. This also means’s Roundtable Forum will have a new URL,, in the next few days.
This has been a long time coming as the content management system I was using, blogger, is very basic and I needed to move onto something more advanced, which is now wordpress. After the last couple of months working on the new site, it’s just about time to reveal it.

This new platform is no longer focused on me, it’s focused on a community of contributing writers, but also Roundtable Forum participants. Wordpress has plugins which allow a lot of features to be implemented that enhance the functionality of the new site. A few of those plugins help to increase the way authors of articles manage their work, and will make things a lot easier for them when writing and pitching articles for

Remote Group Healing for the Weekend of the 17th of September, 2016

No comments:
Sometimes I am approached with a suggestion to run with for our distant healings each weekend. I have a unique perspective on interference, but also on what is effective in the sense of intentions and sending help, so tend to disagree more often than not with people’s ideas of what are beneficial for others.

While I won’t get into detail here, I will quickly say that suffering is not random, it occurs for good reason, so sometimes we need to really tune in and connect with our guidance around the possibility that if we are actually interfering with a souls planned path or not. I don’t sit there and ponder for hours on decisions, I instantly have the answer come to me based on my connection to higher self, but if I want to I can also get the reasons come in, as to why it’s not helpful to actually send ‘help’. This will be a good topic for me to write about on the new site sometime. Doing good is not always doing good.

While this session will be a typical session of focusing healing on each participant, I encourage you to respond either before, or after, the session and suggest future ideas for a secondary intention for our group that can be considered for future sessions we have. The reason I focus our time and energy on ourselves is because we can not only function more efficiently if we don’t get sick, or if we recover faster, but healing also clears a few blocks here and there and that in itself will benefit others, based on us being more effective in life.

Clearing one energetic block could be the catalyst for other blocks to clear, based on further work a person may do outside of these sessions. Just imagine where that can lead someone in the long run? Perhaps it will help them find their true path, and fall more fully onto it?

As a reminder, healing sessions will no longer be posted on the main site here soon, but on the Energy Healing board on the Roundtable Forum. So for those looking for these sessions, you will need to look at this board on the forum here around 48 hours before the session. If you have trouble finding the session and/or forget this information, just contact me. Again for this week I have created a new thread on the Energy Healingboard, which healer Mike is currently moderating.

For those taking part in our remote group healing session this weekend, please let us all know so we are aware of who will be there with us, by replying via a comment here or sending along an email via  the Contact & About link through the Menu. You can find current and past sessions via the 'Weekly Healing' link in the menu, as well as links to feedback focused articles discussing some of the work this group gets up to outside of our primary healing intentions.

What Happens When A Nursing Home & Daycare Centre Share A Roof?

No comments:
By Alanna Ketler via Collective Evolution, 13 September 2016

In the Western world, a nursing home is the most common place for seniors to go once they reach a certain age. It seems this is symptomatic of our culture, because in many other countries the elderly people live with their children and the children take care of them in their old age. They would never dream of dropping their parents off into a home just because their parents have reached a certain point in their lives where it is difficult for them to care for themselves.

In Providence Mount St. Vincent, Seattle, WA, something amazing has happened at the Inter-Generational Learning Center to ensure that the elderly people at their nursing home are happy.

Like Tobacco and Big Pharma, The Sugar Industry Has Manipulated Research For 50 Years

No comments:
By Natasha Longo via Prevent Disease, 13 September 2016

Don't you love people that cling to scientific research without ever questioning who sponsored that research? Using archival documents, a new report published by JAMA Internal Medicine examines the sugar industry's role in heart disease research. The study suggests that the sugar industry sponsored research to influence the scientific debate to cast doubt on the hazards of sugar and to promote dietary fat as the culprit in heart disease. Governments worldwide agreed just like they did with the tobacco industry and big pharma.

The sugar industry was instrumental in influencing the prevailing thinking about fat, obesity and related diseases holding that quantifying calories should be a principal concern and target for intervention.

Part of this thinking is that consumed calories -- regardless of their sources -- are equivalent; i.e. 'a calorie is a calorie'. There needs to be a greater qualitative focus on the sources of calories consumed (i.e. a greater focus on types of foods) and on the metabolic changes that result from consuming foods of different types.

Calorie-focused thinking is inherently biased against high-fat foods, many of which may be protective against obesity and related diseases, and supportive of starchy and sugary replacements, which are likely detrimental.

Ants, Birds and Bacteria Can Teach Humanity About Teamwork

No comments:
By Marco Torres via Prevent Disease, 9 September 2016

USC Viterbi School of Engineering researchers believe that some of the most complex technologies of our times, such as robotics or cognitive computing, can learn a thing or two from swarms of ants, pigeons and bacteria.

For starters, let's look at ants. Drop a piece of sugar on the floor and wait. Sooner or later, one or two straggling ants scoping the area will stumble upon it. What happens next is perhaps one of the most elaborate orchestrations of organized teamwork in nature.

Ants aren't clever little engineers, architects, or warriors after all--at least not as individuals. When it comes to deciding what to do next, most ants don't have a clue. "If you watch an ant try to accomplish something, you'll be impressed by how inept it is," says Deborah M. Gordon, a biologist at Stanford University.

How do we explain, then, the success of Earth's 12,000 or so known ant species? They must have learned something in 140 million years.

Study links big earthquakes to Earth-Moon-Sun alignments

No comments:
Via The Watchers, 13 September 2016

In a new study published in Nature Geoscience yesterday, Japanese researchers have found that many of the largest earthquakes occurred near the time of maximum tidal strain — or during new and full moons when the Sun, Moon and Earth align.
The possibility that tidal stress can trigger earthquakes is long debated. In particular, a clear causal relationship between small earthquakes and the phase of tidal stress is elusive. However, tectonic tremors deep within subduction zones are highly sensitive to tidal stress levels, with tremor rate increasing at an exponential rate with rising tidal stress, the authors said in study's abstract.

The Larger The City You Live In, The More Magnetic Particles Enter Your Brain

No comments:
By April McCarthy via Prevent Disease, 9 September 106

Can traffic fumes go to your head? Ultra-fine particles of metal in exhaust gases fly up our noses and travel into our brains, where they contribute to diseases associated with the central nervous system, and the more congested the city, the bigger the problem.

Iron nanoparticles were already known to be present in the brain -- but they were thought to come from the iron naturally found in our bodies, derived from food.
Now a closer look at their structure suggests the particles mostly come from air pollution sources, like traffic fumes and coal burning. The findings are a smoking gun, says Barbara Maher of Lancaster University in the UK.

Environmental pollution including carbon particles emitted by car exhaust, smoking and long term inhalation of dust of various origins have been recognised as risk factors causing chronic inflammation of the lungs. The link between smoking and autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis has also been established. Diseases associated with inhaled nanoparticles include asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, lung cancer, and neurodegenerative diseases, such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases.
